*Important update regarding COVID-19 and the sale of City property*

The City of Schenectady and our listing agents are among those impacted by the Coronavirus crisis. With the health and welfare of our staff, clients and partners as our top priority, we are implementing several measures to reduce the spread and ensure safety.

  • Open houses and physical viewings of properties must be scheduled with the Listing Realtor, you may be required to sign disclosures provided by the selling or listing agents. please see the NYSAR website and FAQ’s. for information.
  • We encourage all potential buyers to utilize Virtual tours when available, If you choose to visit a property in person please be sure to practice social distancing and wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as masks and gloves. For more information about PPE and how to better protect yourself please visit the CDC website.
  • The formal review of offers to purchase city owned property have officially resumed. Previous offers that have not been accepted but were submitted prior to or during the COVID-19 New York on Pause will need to be re-submitted.
