Schenectady Senior Center Hosting a Member “Drive-thru”
WHERE: Ancient Order of Hibernians – 1748 State Street, Schenectady, New York 12304
WHEN: Thursday, May 21, 2020 from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
DETAILS: The Schenectady Senior Center will be hosting a member “drive-thru”. Members will be given a “Thinking of You” care package, which will include items such as a jigsaw puzzle, word search puzzle book, fun craft to do at home. In addition, each car will receive two bags of food from Schenectady County, PPE items, along with a complimentary lunch courtesy of “The Center”. To date, nearly 100 seniors have responded to an “invitation only” event.
WHO: Partners include the City of Schenectady, County of Schenectady, Kingsway Community, and Ancient Order of Hibernians.
